By the present petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 492/2017 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Mianwali Nagar, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that parties have settled the matter. 9.

Respondent No. 2 states that no settlement has been arrived at between the parties.

In view of the statement of respondent No. 2 who is present in Court and is identified by the learned counsel and on perusal of the so called settlement deed where there is no mention of the FIR in question or the W.P.(CRL) 1656/2018

criminal proceedings, this Court finds no ground to quash the above noted FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

Petition is dismissed.
