O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 108/2018 This petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Arbitral Tribunal adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the Tripartite Agreement dated 11.08.2011.
Learned counsel for the respondent no.1, who appears on advance notice, submits that the respondent has no objection if the prayer made is granted.
Respondent no.2 is stated to be a proforma party.
Having perused the contents of the petition as also the no objection expressed by the learned counsel for the respondent no.1, the time for making of the Arbitral Award is extended by a further period of three months with effect from 17.07.2018.
The petition is allowed in the above terms, with no order as to cost. Dasti.
