CRL.M.C. 1224/2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.214/2011, under Section 420/467/468/471 IPC, registered at Police Station-Ranjit Nagar, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom. Ms.Anupama Kumar, Advocate for respondent No.2 has filed copy of the Board of Resolution authorizing Mr.Charanjeev Batra to represent respondent No.2 company. Same is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was the

franchise of respondent No. 2 company and during the course of business dealings some misunderstanding had arisen between the parties, resulting into registration of FIR No.214/2011, under Section 420/467/468/471 IPC at Police Station-Ranjit Nagar, Delhi. He further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near friends intervened and the matter has been amicably settled between the parties vide settlement deed dated 22.01.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that all disputes have been amicably settled between the parties and nothing remains to be adjudicated upon further and submits that the FIR in question is coming as hurdle in the way of the present petitioner. He further submits since all disputes have been settled between the parties, the FIR in question and all proceedings arising therefrom may be quashed.

Mr.Charanjeev Batra is present on behalf of respondent No.2/complainant and is represented by his counsel Mr.Arjun Dewan, Advocate, Enrolment No.D/2708/2010. Mr.Charanjeev Batra admits that the matter has been amicably settled with the petitioner vide settlement deed dated 22.01.2017 and the terms of settlement has been acted upon between the parties and nothing remains to be adjudicated further. He further submits that the respondent No.2 company has no objection if the FIR in question is quashed.

Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and nothing remains to be adjudicated further between them, I deem it appropriate to quash the FIR and all its subsequent proceedings. Consequently, FIR No.214/2011, under Section 420/467/468/471 IPC, registered at Police Station-Ranjit Nagar, Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. Parties to
