% 25.07.2016 Present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "The petitioner therefore humbly prays that this Hon'ble Court may issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs, directing the respondent to withdraw and cancel its demand for payment of water charges of Rs.70,493/- made vide slips Annexure P-8 to 10 and to forbear from taking any steps or proceedings for the enforcement of the said demand." Today, learned counsel for respondent-DJB has handed over a copy of the latest bill as well as the calculation sheet. The same are taken on record. He further states that if the petitioner pays Rs.31,101/- on or before 31st July, 2016, the petitioner's account would stand settled till 19th July, 2016.
