O R D E R

% 27.03.2017 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 281/2016 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 308 IPC against the petitioners at Police Station Kalyanpuri. The complainant is present in Court. He is identified by the Investigating Officer.

The parties have arrived at a settlement. Under the settlement, the complainant has received a total compensation of Rs. 20,000/-. The complainant states that he has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that he has entered the settlement out of her own free will. The

complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

The petitioner states that he is remorseful of his conduct and that he is willing to atone for the same. He states that the court may subject him to such terms and conditions as it deem appropriate. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed subject to payment of costs of Rs. 10,000/- to be deposited with the Delhi Legal Services Authority within two weeks. Dasti.
