OMP(Misc.)(Comm.) 106/2018 This petition has been filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the Act) seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Sole Arbitrator for adjudicating the disputes between the parties in Arbitration Case No.2/2016.

Counsel for the respondents, who appears on an advance notice, submits that the respondents have no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended by a further period of six months with effect from 23rd June, 2018.

Having perused the contents of the petition and no objection expressed by the counsel for the respondents, the time for making of the Arbitral Award is extended by a further period of six months with

effect from 23rd June, 2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.
