OMP(Misc.)(Comm.) 112/2018 This is a petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Arbitral Tribunal adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the Purchase Order dated 3rd January, 2014. Learned senior counsel for the respondent, who appears on an advance notice, submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended.

Having perused the contents of the petition as also no objection expressed by the respondent, time for making of the Award is extended by a further period of six months with effect from 22nd June,

2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.
