(ORAL) 1.

Aggrieved by Seniority List (Annexure P-1), petitioner had made a Representation (Annexure P-4) to respondent on 11th May, 2018 while pointing out that persons, who were junior to petitioner, have been shown senior in the said list.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that there is no response to the aforesaid Representation (Annexure P-4) and that Departmental Promotion Committee meeting is to take place shortly to consider the case for promotion from Assistant Managers to Deputy Managers and before the promotions take place, petitioner's Representation (Annexure P-4) against Seniority List (Annexure P-1) ought to be considered. 3.

Despite service of advance notice, there is no Representation on behalf of respondent.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with direction to respondent to effectively consider petitioner's Representation (Annexure P-4) and to give a speaking response thereto, within a period of six weeks and to convey the fate of said Representation to petitioner within a week thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be. Till fate of petitioner's Representation is made known to her, promotions to the post of Deputy Managers be not finalized. 5.

Respondent be apprised of this order forthwith, to ensure its compliance.

With aforesaid direction, this petition and the applications are disposed of.
