CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 27.07.2016 Petitioner seeks parole on medical grounds.
It is stated that petitioner has to be operated for appendicitis.
Health status report of petitioner submitted by the Senior Medical Officer, Central Jail No. 2, Tihar, indicates that petitioner was diagnosed for acute appendicitis in the month of December, 2015.
Operation was arranged in DDU Hospital but he declined.
It has been further noted that petitioner is under regular monitoring and constant observation for pain abdomen with photodermatitis and is getting regular treatment from Central Jail No. 2 dispensary. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner intends to get operated in some private hospital.
It may be noted that petitioner was out
on furlough from 30th March, 2016 to 20th April, 2016 and had ample opportunity to get him operated in some private hospital. I do not find it to be a fit case to grant parole to the petitioner. Petition is dismissed.
