The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition to seek a writ of habeas corpus for production of his wife - Amirun Nisha, who is alleged to have been kept captive by respondent No. 2, her father. Mr. Mehra has tendered in Court the status report. Respondent No. 2 as well as his daughter Amirun Nisha are present. We have interacted with her and she states that she has married to the petitioner and would like to return with the petitioner and reside with him.

Respondent is also agreeable to this course of actions being adopted. Accordingly, Amirun Nisha may accompany the petitioner from the Court itself. Inspector Yogesh Malhotra, SHO, PS - Khajoori Khas is present. He shall ensure their safe passage from the Court till their residence. Respondent No. 2 has been cautioned not to take the law into his own hands or to issue any threat to the petitioner and his wife. Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
