% 03.07.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks extension of parole granted to her. The petitioner was granted parole on 12th October, 2017 for a period of one month as she had suffered fracture of the right intertrochenteric femur and was to be operated thereof. After this surgery the petitioner's re-surgery was performed and hip replacement was carried out. The petitioner sought further extension of parole which was granted to her as she needed extensive physiotherapy.
Learned Additional Standing Counsel states that pursuant to the order dated 12th October, 2017, the petitioner was released on 18th October, 2017 and the petitioner is on parole since then.
The petitioner now seeks extension of parole on the ground that while her condition was improving, she fell down from the bed resulting in the W.P.(CRL) 1722/2018
fracture of the left 8th Rib. Copy of the prescription slip has been handed over in Court by learned counsel for the petitioner, which is taken on record. Learned Additional Standing Counsel on instructions submits that the OPD card of Dr.V.B.Bhasin, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has been verified. Considering the verification report and the condition of the petitioner, this Court deems it fit to extend the parole of the petitioner for a further period of two months from today on the same terms and conditions as imposed vide order dated October 12, 2017 and modified vide order dated December 01, 2017.
Petition is disposed of. Order Dasti.
