O R D E R

% 29.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have settled their disputes amicably, vide a Deed of Settlement dated 18th March, 2017, therefore, FIR No. 155/2016 under Sections 420/468/471/34 IPC registered at Police Station Keshav Puram, on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court along with their counsel and have been identified by SI Mahendar Pratap, P.S. Keshav Puram. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue

force, coercion and pressure. They further submit and they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that Devender Singh is also one of the accused. Learned counsels for the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit that Devender Singh has expired on 6th February, 2016. SI Mahendar Pratap submits that he has verified this fact. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties and that respondent nos. 2 and 3 are not willing to pursue the FIR any further, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice FIR No. 155/2016 under Sections 420/468/471/34 IPC registered at Police Station Keshav Puram, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
