The sole grievance of the petitioner is that the appeal which was filed on 23.1.2018 has not been heard and disposed of as yet. 3.
In these circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal in accordance with law. Endeavour would be made to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible, though not later than eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

While deciding the appeal, the respondent will obtain the original record.
