% 25.05.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent nos.2 to 4 are also present in Court and accept notice. They have been identified by SI Mukesh Kumar of police station Binda Pur. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No. 946/2015 under Sections 354(B)/379/506/34 IPC registered at police station Binda Pur. It is further submitted that with the intervention of their common friends and other family members, petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Respondent nos. 2 to 4 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will

and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection in case FIR is quashed. Affidavits of respondent nos. 2 to 4 are also on record to this effect.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
