The petitioners have invoked the extra ordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. with following prayers:- (i) to direct respondents No.2 and 3 to provide adequate security to the petitioners.

(ii) to direct respondents No.4, 5 and 6 not to interfere in the peaceful lives of the petitioners and not to harass and humiliate the parents of petitioner No.2.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State/R-1 submits that the petitioners before this Court are residents of Punjab. They are major and though they intend to marry each other as per the averments made in the W.P.(CRL) 1517/2016

petition, they have not married so far. He further submits that case FIR No.86/2016 under Section 365/366/10-B IPC has also been registered at PS City Tarntaran, Punjab. The mother of petitioner No.2 has already been arrested in that case and petitioner No.2 is also wanted in the said case. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach Punjab & Haryana High Court for the relief sought in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting the liberty as prayed for.

As prayed, copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the petitioner.
