Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued to the Trial Court for expeditious disposal of the trial, he shall not press this application at this stage.

Keeping in view the totality of the facts and circumstances and the fact that the petitioner is in custody, Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution evidence and endeavour to conclude the same within six months from the next date of hearing before the trial court. 3.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
