This writ petition is filed seeking a writ, order or direction to respondent No. 3 to demolish the unauthorized construction of the shop carried out on the property bearing No.108/224, New Seelampur, Delhi. 2.

Respondent No.1/EDMC has filed a status report stating that unauthorised construction was booked on 25.05.2018. Sealing action was also initiated against the property under section 345-A of the DMC Act. 3.

As the steps are being taken by respondent No.1/EDMC as per law, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter may be disposed of with appropriate direction to respondent No.1/EDMC. 4.

Learned counsel for respondent No.1/EDMC states that some difficulty is being experienced as the concerned police station is not cooperating by giving appropriate police protection to carry out demolition orders.

Accordingly, the SHO of the concerned police station will ensure that appropriate police protection is provided to respondent No.1/EDMC for carrying out appropriate demolition orders in the property in question. 6.

With the above direction the present writ petition is disposed of. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of. JAYANT NATH, J.
