Mr M.Sowri Dev, Advocate.
versus UNION OF INDIA & ORS ..... Respondents Through:

Mr Arjun Mitra, Advocate for R-3.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SIDDHARTH MRIDUL
O R D E R
% 22.06.2016 Mr Mitra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.3 has handed over in court today the results of the written exam qua the petitioners in a sealed cover, in compliance of the order passed by this court on 08.06.2016. The results submitted in a sealed cover have been perused and it appears that but for petitioner No.3 (Gurudu Kalyan Kumar) and petitioner No.10 (Patham Sharvan Tej), the others have failed to qualify the written exam. Even as regards petitioners No.3 and 10, Mr Mitra would urge that considering the rank obtained by them in the written exam their chances of getting a seat in any of the IITs is remote.
The envelope containing the results, as aforesaid, is re-sealed and has been handed over to Mr Mitra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent No.3.
In view of the foregoing, Mr M.Sowri Dev, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on telephonic instructions obtained from his client,
does not press this petition.
The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of accordingly. SIDDHARTH MRIDUL (VACATION JUDGE) JUNE 22, 2016 mk
