% 28.05.2018 After some hearing, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits on instructions that the petitioner may be allowed to withdraw the present petition and the applications filed therewith, but the grievance of the petitioner (seventh defendant in the suit) essentially has been that the case is being unnecessarily protracted and delayed since the interim order against his interest is operating.

This court hopes and trusts that given the necessary cooperation and assistance, the trial court would proceed with the matter expeditiously. The petition and the applications filed therewith are dismissed as withdrawn.
