% 20.05.2016 Crl.M.A. 8295/2016 (Exemption) Application is allowed subject to just exceptions. Crl.M.C. 1958/2016 The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Section 440 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for reduction of bail bond and surety bond.

Perusal of record shows that vide order dated 18.04.2016, the petitioner was granted bail by the learned Additional Sessions Judge subject to her furnishing the bail bond/surety bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned MM/Duty MM.

Thereafter, the petitioner filed an application for reduction of surety of the petitioner from two sureties to one surety and also to reduce the amount of surety bond. The said

application was dismissed vide order dated 06.05.2016. It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a poor lady and is unable to give the personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- or two local sureties. It is further submitted that the co-accused has been granted bail on furnishing the surety bond of Rs.20,000/-.

In the facts and circumstances, the present petition is disposed of with the modification in the bail order to the effect that the petitioner shall be released on furnishing the personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties in the like amount. P.S.TEJI, J MAY 20, 2016 dd
