% 03.11.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter, which resulted in registration of the present FIR No. 2305/2014 under Sections 323/354/506 IPC at Police Station Shakarpur on the complaint of respondent no. 2. It is submitted that respondent no. 2 and petitioner have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Shri Gopal of police
station Shakarpur.
She says that she has settled the matter with the petitioner vide a Settlement Deed dated 4th February, 2017 of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind the fact that disputes arose between the parties on some trivial issue, which led to registration of the present FIR and petitioners and respondent no. 2 have now settled their disputes amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 2305/2014 under Sections 323/354/506 IPC registered at Police Station Shakarpur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
