% 29.05.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Respondent nos.2 to 4 are present in Court and accept notice. They have been identified by SI Ranjit of police station Neb Sarai.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them, which led to registration of the FIR No. 855/2014 under Sections 452/323/341/509/506/427/34 IPC registered at police station Neb Saria on the complaint of respondent no. 2. Respondent nos. 3 and 4 are victims.

It is submitted that with the intervention of common friends and family members, respondent nos. 2 to 4 have settled the matter amicably with petitioners in terms of Memorandum of Settlement annexure P3, therefore, the aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. It is submitted that during the course of investigation, offence under section 354 IPC was also added.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, the aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
