% 20.11.2017 It appears from the record that the counsel for the petitioners last appeared on 27th September, 2016. Thereafter, the petition was adjourned to 21st December, 2016, 21st March, 2017 and 3rd August, 2017 as the statement was being made that the parties are trying for amicable settlement. On these dates, none appeared for the petitioner and the above statement of settlement was made by the counsel for the respondent.

Today, counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner had offered some settlement terms, however, has thereafter not honoured the same. Today again, none appears for the petitioner. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed in default.
