1. The status report confirms that the minor girl was recovered and was restored to the Petitioners, i.e. her parents. She also had to undergo a medical termination of pregnancy. A criminal case stands registered against the person from whose custody she was recovered.

2. As regards the prayer of the Petitioners that compensation be ordered to be paid to the victim, as rightly pointed out by Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel for the State, the Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA), should be approached by the Petitioners so that appropriate orders under the Victim Compensation Scheme can be passed without any delay.

3. A copy of this order be delivered through a Special Messenger to the

Secretary, DSLSA forthwith.

4. The petition is disposed of.
