The petitioner has filed the present application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, inter alia, praying that the time for making the arbitral award be extended for a period of seven months from 26.04.2018. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent also joins in making the aforesaid request. The learned counsel for the parties state that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments. 4.

In view of the above, the application is allowed and the time for making the award is extended for a further period of seven months from 26.04.2018; that is, till 26.11.2018.
