% 06.06.2018 CRL.M.A. 11342/2018 (Early hearing) Application for early hearing is allowed.

W.P.(CRL) 1753/2018 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner for the extension of the parole.

A perusal of the file shows that the petitioner moved the first application seeking parole for 80 days and the same was declined on 24.01.2018. Subsequently, another application was moved by the petitioner and the petitioner was granted parole for four weeks on 03.04.2018. Thereafter, an application for extension of parole was moved on the ground of death of his father on 30.04.2018 and this Court extended the parole for four weeks w.e.f. 10.05.2018.

The present application has again been moved for extension of parole on account of ill health of mother.

The files of W.P.(Crl.) 679/2018 and 1433/2018 were called which shows that the petitioner had been seeking extension of parole time and again. The grant of parole is exceptional relief by the Court in extraordinary circumstances, apart from grant of parole and furlough under the Rules of the Government of the NCT of Delhi.

In the facts and circumstances, this Court is of the considered view that no ground is made out for extension of parole. Hence dismissed. However, it is made clear that the petitioner may be taken in custody on 07.06.2018 to the hospital to meet his mother. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
