The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the Competent Authority has already taken a decision to release the bank guarantee amounting to ₹208.16 Crores submitted by the petitioner in terms of the allocation letter dated 20.07.2007 allocating Kerandari B&C Coal Block for Tilaiya UMPP-reg.

In view of the above, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive and he seeks to withdraw the present petition. 3.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
