% 28.05.2018 After some hearing, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that the petitioner may be allowed to withdraw the present petition and the application filed therewith, but the grievance of the petitioner herein is that the hearing of the appeal (RCT ARCT No.2/17), in which he is the respondent is being unnecessarily protracted and delayed. This court hopes and trusts that given the necessary co-operation and assistance, the first appellate forum would proceed with the matter expeditiously.

The petition and the application filed therewith are dismissed as withdrawn.
