% 29.05.2018 After some hearing, the counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition and the applications filed therewith seeking liberty to move an application for review against the order dated 19.05.2018 of the Rent Controller on the file of the eviction case (E no. 80849/2016) to press a limited prayer for consideration of the facts relating to civil suit no.92/2018 (new no.CS/ DJ/1571/2018) of Asmat Ali Khan in which the petitioner has been served with the summons on 12.05.2018 as subsequent events to be taken into account in the context of the pending application for leave to contest, placing reliance on the ruling of this court in Punjab Stainless Steel House vs. Smt. Sangeeta Kedia, CM (M) 1354/2011, decided on 01.09.2014.

The petition and the applications filed therewith are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed granted.
