O R D E R

% 09.08.2019 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging noncompliance of order dated February 15, 2018 wherein this Court has stated as under:

"Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, learned ASC appearing for the SHO / respondent No.3 on instructions from Mr. Rajender Singh SI states, strict vigil shall be kept in the area to ensure that the encroachers do not reoccupy the space beyond bazar limit on Thursday's when the weekly market is held." A compliance affidavit has been filed by the concerned SHO wherein in paras 2 and 3 the following has been stated as under: "2.

That Police staff is also deployed at the weekly bazaar on every Thursday to keep the vendors within the

limits of bazaar in order to comply with the order of this Hon'ble Court. Apart from this, the weekly bazaar association also used to deploy seven security guards at the bazaar to control the vendors to avoid any scuffle between them. Police barricades are also put on one side of the bazaar which are properly manned and no vendor is allowed to put his stall beyond the bazaar limit. Random checking is also being carried out in the weekly bazaar.

3. That the order dated 15.02.2018 of this Hon'ble Court is being complied with in letter and spirit. The beat staff has been issued strict directions that there should be no violation by any hawker / vendor in weekly bazaar and the bazaar must be within the earmarked limit."

In view of the stand taken by the SHO, the contempt petition is closed. In the eventuality, the encroachers re-surface, liberty is with the petitioner to file a fresh contempt petition with photographs. V. KAMESWAR RAO, J AUGUST 09, 2019/aky
