% 13.11.2018 Vide order dated 30th May, 2018, this Court had directed the State to file a status report confirming whether any inquiry proceedings before the learned Special Executive Magistrate were pending against the petitioner. A status report has been filed by the State on 6th February, 2018, clearly stating that the said proceedings against the petitioner have been dropped.

In view of the aforesaid position, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing further survives in the present proceedings.

The petition along with the pending application is dismissed as infructuous.
