Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.61/2013 under Sections 354A/34 IPC, Police Station Kashmiri Gate.

It is contended that parties are neighbours.
Subject FIR was registered consequent to the allegations that son of the petitioner used to watch inappropriate contents outside the jhuggi of the complainant and when she complained to the petitioner, he misbehaved with her. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that disputes between the parties have been settled and a Memorandum of CRL.M.C. 3176/2018
Understanding dated 25.05.2018 has been executed between the parties.

Respondent No. 2 is present in person and is identified by the Investigating Officer. She submits that she has settled all the disputes with the petitioner. She further submits she does not wish to press her complaint any further.

In view of the fact that disputes between the parties have been settled, continuation of criminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends of justice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would also be expedient to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed. FIR No.61/2013 under Sections 354/34 IPC, Police Station Kashmiri Gate and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are, accordingly quashed.
