% 16.11.2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions of the petitioner who is personally present in Court, wishes to withdraw the present contempt petition.
It is pertinent to mention that in the status report filed by North DMC, it is stated that in none of the properties mentioned by the petitioner, any construction activity is in progress. It is further stated that some of the properties mentioned by the petitioner were booked but as they are protected under the National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Second (Amendment) Act, 2014, no demolition action can be taken till 31st December, 2017.
