% 17.08.2016 The learned counsel for respondent no.2 (Provident Fund Department) submits that six workmen have not yet filed any pension claim. He submits that upon their completing the formalities before the Provident Fund Commissioner their applications would be duly processed within a period of four weeks.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners will make applications within four weeks from today before the Punjab National Bank, respondent no.1. The Court directs that within a week of completion of the requisite formalities by the petitioners, the respondent no.1 will forward their applications to the Provident Fund Commissioner (PFC). Thereafter, the PFC will process their applications for payment of pension within a period of four weeks.
