Mr. Ranbir Singh Kundu, the learned Additional Standing Counsel accepts notice for State.
According to the communication addressed to the Registrar General of this Court from the Superintendent of Prisons, the medical condition of the petitioner was examined at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Mangolpuri and the doctors have opined that he needs to undergo a surgery for the ailments he is suffering from. He is to be admitted on 11.07.2018 for an operation the following day.
In the circumstances, the petitioner be released on parole for a period of three weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the
satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned, subject to the following conditions:-
(1) The petitioner shall report to the Station House Officer, concerned Police Station Alipur, Delhi, once a week on every Tuesday during the period of parole.
(2) He shall furnish his telephone number to the SHO concerned, which shall be kept operational at all times.
(3) He shall surrender before the jail authorities at the expiry of the period of parole.
With the above directions the writ petition is disposed-off. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties.
