O R D E R

% 01.06.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has sought a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's pending representation dated 19th March, 2018, for considering grant of allotment of alternative plot.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner had already made a representation dated 19th March, 2018, the present writ petition is more comprehensive and, therefore, instead of filing a fresh comprehensive representation, the respondents be directed to treat the present writ petition as a representation and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, does not oppose the aforesaid prayer made by the petitioner.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, I am of the view that the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is just and fair.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat the same as a representation of the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order within eight weeks dealing with all the contentions raised by the petitioner including the effect of the relinquishment deed dated 30th March, 2018. Needless to say, in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the respondents, it will be open for him to take legal recourse as permissible under law.

The writ petition and pending application are disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
