O R D E R

% 14.02.2020 The lis is stated to have been settled amicably courtesy the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre vide Settlement Agreement dated 23.12.2019 for an amount of Rs. 6,50,000/- in full and final settlement of all claims of the respondent as recorded therein. Rs. 3,24,000/- has already been deposited with the Registrar General of this Court. The remaining amounts are being paid as under:- (i) Rs. 1,26,000/- by way of a draft bearing no. 002919 dated 12.02.2020 drawn on HDFC Bank, Chuna Mandi Paharganj, New Delhi, in favour of Mr. Santosh Singh.

(ii) A cheque of Rs. 2,00,000/- bearing no. 000009 dated 14.03.2020, drawn on HDFC Bank, Shop No.9, Ground Floor, Panchkuian Road, Near Ramkrishan Ashram Metro Station, Delhi, in favour of Mr. Santosh Singh.

The financial instruments have been handed over to the learned counsel for the respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cheque is good for encashment. The assurance is accepted. The learned counsels for the parties assure the Court that the parties shall be bound by the terms of the settlement. Their assurance is accepted. The amount lying deposited in this Court, along with interest accrued thereon, shall be released to the respondent, directly into his bank account being A/c No. 39033027540, IFSC Code SBIIN0013183, State Bank of India, Gole Market Branch, New Delhi.

The petition along with pending application is disposed-off in the above terms.
