% 30.05.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and accepts notice and has been identified by SI Rajender Kumar of police station New Friends Colony. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, Delhi on 16th December, 2016 and that she has no objection in case FIR No. 368/2015 under Sections 354D/506 IPC registered at police station New Friends Colony is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, the aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
