% 17.05.2016 The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 21st April, 2016 passed by respondent No. 1-APIO, Assistant Commissioner of Police, I.P. Estate, whereby the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the order dated 13th April, 2016 was transferred to the First Appellate Authority, East District, Mandawali, Delhi Police.

Learned counsel for the petitioner questions the jurisdiction of APIO to transfer the petitioner's appeal.

However, learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, has today in Court handed over an appeal order dated 16th May, 2016 by virtue of which the petitioner's appeal has been disposed of by the Special Commissioner of Police. A copy of the said order is taken on record.

In view of the subsequent development, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file a comprehensive petition in accordance with law. With the aforesaid liberty, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
