% 31.05.2018 After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file statutory appeal. We take the statement on record and the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, without commenting on merits and with liberty to the petitioner to file a statutory appeal. Pending applications are also dismissed as withdrawn.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, if advised, and necessary, may challenge constitutionality of the Rules. We clarify that withdrawal of the present writ petition would not bar the petitioner from filing a writ challenging the Rules. SANJIV KHANNA, J CHANDER SHEKHAR, J MAY 31, 2018/rd
