% 01.06.2018 Vide the present application, the applicant seeks transitory anticipatory bail submitting that the applicant has an apprehension of the arrest in FIR No.224/2018, under Sections 420/406 Indian Penal Code, 1860 PS Kotwali nagar, Dehradun, Utarkhand. Notice of the application is issued to the State. Reliance is placed on behalf of the applicant on the verdict of this Court in M. Ravi Prasad & Ors. v. The State & Anr.; 2006 [2] JCC 1133, to submit that the said powers to grant transitory bail can be invoked, which is not refuted on behalf of the State. Taking into account the averments made in the FIR and the applicant's apprehension of arrest, the applicant is allowed be released on transitory bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Metropolitan Magistrate concerned in Delhi/Link
Magistrate/Duty Magistrate with direction to the applicant to put in appearance before the concerned Court at Kotwali Nagar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand on or before 7th June 2018.
