CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU

O R D E R

% 11.07.2018 1.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, challenging the selection of the Indian Contingent to represent India at the World Amateur Golf Championship to be held at Ireland in August, 2018. 2.

On 04.06.2018, the petitioners were directed to implead successful candidates who had been chosen as a part of the Indian contingent and also the Indian Olympic Association, within a period of one week from that date. It is also noted that the present petition was listed on three occasions,

thereafter. However, notwithstanding the clear directions, the petitioner has taken no steps to implead the selected candidates. Since, the petitioners have challenged the selection of players to represent India in the World Amateur Golf Championship to be held at Ireland in August, 2018; the selected candidates are necessary parties to this petition. Clearly, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted in their absence. 3.

In view of the above, this Court finds no reason to entertain the present petition.

The same is, accordingly, dismissed. All pending applications are also disposed of.
