Mr. P.C. Yadav and Mr. Harpreet Singh, Advocates accept notice on behalf of respondent No. 1 and 2 respectively. The limited grievance articulated by the Petitioner is that with the advent of service tax, being an unregistered dealer under the old regime, its appeal was rejected for want of pre-deposit. The Petitioner's complains that despite several letters and communications, the Commissioner and other Service Tax Authorities
have not responded and the appeal preferred was consequently rejected.
Having regard to the grievance, the respondents are hereby directed to intimate the Petitioner within a week, the account into which pre-deposit should be deposited and for this purpose the Petitioner should present before the concerned Commissioner of GST, Delhi. In any event, to clear the uncertainty, the standing counsel shall ensure that written communication is addressed to the writ petitioner within a week. Upon pre-deposit, the Petitioner's appeal shall be heard on its merit; to that extent the order of dismissal of his appeal in default is set aside.
The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Dasti under the signatures of the Court Master. S. RAVINDRA BHAT, J A. K. CHAWLA, J JULY 06, 2018 pkb
