The parties have filed a joint application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying that the time for making the award be extended for a further period of four months. The learned counsel appearing for the parties state that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments, which shall commence shortly.

In view of the above, the application is allowed and the time for making the award is extended by a further period of seven months from 03.04.2018 (the date on which the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was to terminate).

The application is disposed of.
