The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.304/2016 registered under Sections 384/511/506/341/34 IPC at PS Moti Nagar. Status report is on record. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. By an order dated 17.05.2016, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then. Status report reveals that the petitioner was involved in other criminal cases. However, in case FIR No.54/1992 under Sections 307/34 IPC, he has since been acquitted. FIR No. BAIL APPLN. 1020/2016

244/2012 under Sections 324/354 IPC PS Moti Nagar has since been quashed on 13.12.2014.

The petitioner was convicted in case FIR No.264/1986 under Sections 341/427/188 IPC PS Moti Nagar, it was way back on 28.08.1986.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
