W.P.(CRL) 1669/2016 Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner limits the relief in the present petition to a direction to the police to conduct a fair, impartial and expeditious investigation into the FIR No.8/2016 dated 05.02.2016, registered under Section 406/420/120B IPC at the Economic Offences Wing, Mandir Marg, New Delhi.

Ms. Richa Kapoor, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) appearing on behalf of the police states that they shall conduct an investigation, strictly in accordance with law and in terms of the mandate of Section 173(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, expeditiously. Directed accordingly.
