% 18.06.2018 Ms. Vohra, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State has sought to place on record the further status report. It is taken on record.
During the course of hearing, it is not disputed that against the sentence of seven years, vide judgment dated 08.04.2016, the petitioner has already undergone the judicial custody of more than five and half years and by the instant application, he seeks parole to attend the marriage of his younger sister, which is verified to be scheduled on 30th June 2018. The other grounds for seeking parole for one month are not pressed.
Keeping in view the totality of facts and circumstances, the Petitioner is admitted to parole on his executing personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety of the like amount for the period of one week from the date of his release.
Petition stands disposed of.
