The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 24.08.2011 passed by the Disciplinary Authority imposing on him a punishment of "Reduction of pay by two stages from 10260/- + 2800/- (GP) to Rs.9510/- + 2800/- (GP) in the time scale of pay (Pay band and Grade Pay) Rs.5200-20200 (GP Rs.2800/-) for a period of two years with immediate effect. It is further directed that No.854360381 pra aa/GD C.M. Mishra will not earn increments of pay during the period of reduction and that on expiry of this period, the reduction will have the effect of postponing his future increment of pay." Further, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 03.08.2017, passed by the Appellate Authority holding that his appeal was highly belated, but going on to observe that even otherwise, the order of the Disciplinary Authority did not warrant any interference.
