The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondents to withdraw/cancel the minutes of the Selection Board held on 06.09.2016 for filling up the vacancies of Fair Price Shops in Circle-06, Rithala.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents points out that the petitioner has already preferred an appeal before the Commissioner, Food and Supply Department challenging the decision of the Selection Committee taken in the meeting held on 06.09.2016.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the concerned Commissioner to adjudicate the petitioner's

appeal as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within a period of eight weeks from today.

Needless to state that, if aggrieved, the petitioner would not be precluded from impugning the said decision 5.
