% 31.08.2018 1.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in case, this Court is inclined to direct expeditious disposal of the Trial Court proceedings, he shall not press his application at this stage. 2.

Learned APP for the State submits that most of the private witnesses have been recorded and only official and formal witnesses are remaining to be examined.

3.

Keeping in view of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is incarcerated, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and conclude the same, preferably, by 31.12.2018.

4.

In view of the above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

5.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn. AUGUST 31, 2018/st SANJEEV SACHDEVA, J
